Monday
Depart from Windhoek station at 09h00. Enjoy a welcoming drink and delicious lunch aboard. Arrive at Omaruru station at 16h00 for a visit to the Kristal Kellerei, with guided tour, wine tasting and snacks. Return to Desert Express at 18h30. Three-course dinner served in the Welwitschia Restaurant. Overnight on board.
Tuesday
Breakfast is served from 07h00 onwards. Arrival at Tsumeb station at 09h00. Transfer to Mokuti Lodge in buses. Lunch at Mokuti and afternoon at leisure...relax away the hot midday hours around the refreshing swimming pool, or explore one of the many walking trails. Visit Intouka Reptile Park late afternoon. Buffet dinner or Boma. Overnight at Mokuti Lodge.
A variety of antelope species can be seen at the Etosha National Park.Wednesday
After an early breakfast, depart at 07h30 on a game drive into Etosha National Park. Despite being in a semi-arid area, the park is home to hundreds of bird, reptile and mammal species. Common sights include elephant, black rhino (one of the biggest populations in Africa), wildebeest, zebra, and rare antelope species; also lion, cheetah and leopard.

Return to Mokuti Lodge in time for lunch, before departing for Tsumeb station. Depart at 16h00 on a 1˝ hour journey to Khorab Lodge for sundowner drinks. Departure at 19h00 to enjoy a three course dinner aboard Desert Express. Overnight aboard.

Thursday
Breakfast served from 07h00 and a full day of traveling with lunch served from 12h00. Arrive at Windhoek station at 15h00.
