ITINERARY 
White rhino!DAY 1: 

Arrive at the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park in the early afternoon. This is the oldest colonial game reserve in Africa and is internationally renowned for the work done to save the white and black rhino. In addition to the white and black rhino, the reserve is also inhabited by a large variety of game.

DAY  2: 

The sun creeps over the horizon as we set-off for our first game walk. After a sumptuous, well-earned breakfast, there is game viewing in an air-conditioned vehicle. For the energetic there is the opportunity for a second walk.

DAY 3: 

Hippo at the St. Lucia complex.Begin the day with an early morning walk or a game drive. Afterwards, we leave the reserve and travel eastwards to the biggest estuarine nature reserve in Africa, the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park. A boat ride up the estuary provides a wonderful window into this complex and fascinating system. Birdlife is prolific and there are many crocodiles and hippos. We return to the park for a fine three-course restaurant meal.

DAY 4: 

After breakfast we travel via a Zulu cultural village to the lodge. We depart on an afternoon walking tour of the historical Rorke's Drift Battlefield site. At this important Anglo-Zulu War battlefield, there is a tribal arts and crafts center.

Overnight Fugitive's Drift Lodge  (DBB-L—dinner, bed & breakfast basis, with lunch)

DAY 5: 

Breakfast at the lodge and the option to relax or take a walk in the reserve before heading back to Durban for your connecting flight, or on to your next module.
