The adventurous will enjoy this trip that takes you through the wildflower belt,  prolific birding areas, and into the remote, north-western corner of the Cape where the area is characterized by steep gorges, craggy peaks and high cliffs... and where the mighty Orange River awaits you.

Depart Cape Town and travel via Mamre onto the West Coast National Park. Enjoy a two-hour walk on the shores of the lagoon. Later in the day, we continue up the West Coast to Lambert's Bay. We arrive at the Rooibos Tea Farm Ou Huis later in the day.

After a hearty farmhouse breakfast, we depart on an hour-long walk to view some magnificent bushman paintings. We then continue along the N7 through the Northern Cape to the Orange River. Provenance Base Camp is situated along the banks of the river 12 km from the Namibian border.

After a short paddle, we arrive at the take-out point, and transfer back to base camp where hot showers and lunch await. Depart for Clanwilliam.

After breakfast we continue on down the N7, arriving in Cape Town around midday in time for your onward flight, or your next module.
