What to Pack

Breede River Rafting..

Beverages: No bottles on river for conservation reasons. Please note that Round the Bend camp does have a cash bar where you may buy the drinks you require for the weekend.
General items: camera, flashlight, sunglasses with strap, sun protection lotion, chapstick, insect repellant, toiletries. There is a shop at Round the Bend that sells items of river wear.
Wet gear: bathing suit, hat/cap, tennis shoes/sneakers/sandals, t-shirts, shorts, waterproof windbreaker. For winter, a wetsuit is essential—bring your own or hire at camp.
Dry gear: warm-ups/tracksuit, t-shirts, shorts, tennis shoes/sneakers/sandals, underwear, towel, sarong; extra clothing for evening

Cunene River Safari...

Passport!
Malaria tablets.  Start taking at least one week prior to expedition departure. 
Beverages: bring your own drinks, hard and soft, including water. No glass bottles please; must be decanted into plastic bottles. Ice and coolers provided. Re-supply point at halfway mark.
General items: camera, flashlight, sunglasses with strap, sun protection lotion, chapstick, insect repellant, binoculars and bird book, biodegradable toiletries
Wet gear: bathing suit, hat/cap, tennis shoes/sneakers/sandals, t-shirts, long-sleeved t- shirt, shorts, waterproof windbreaker, wetsuit (essential for winter)
Dry gear: tennis shoes/sneakers, underwear, t-shirts, shorts, towel, sarong; plus warm-ups/tracksuit, woolen hat and gloves in winter months
Sleeping & Eating: optional items include small fold-up tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, ground sheet, plate, mug, utensils

Orange River Adventure...
