No previous experience is necessary. Highly qualified (SARA) River Guides accompany you on each trip, and they'll take you through an informative safety briefing and paddling demonstration before you set-off for the ride of your life: 19 rapids, with names like Rollercoaster, Horrible Horace and Whiplash Smile, send you on an adrenaline-filled roller-coaster ride that covers a distance of 22 km.

1:
Arrive at the meeting point at 17h00. You will be met by your guides and transported to the base camp on the banks of the river. On arrival at Mfongosi Camp, you are welcomed by the staff and shown to your traditional thatched accommodation. Relax around the bar with sundowners before a dinner of delectable bush cuisine is served. |

2:
Wake-up call with tea/coffee and rusks. After breakfast, meet at the river's edge for a paddling demonstration and safety briefing. Once everyone is kitted with helmets and life jackets, set out to tackle the rapids. Lunch is served en-route. You'll be met at the take-out point and transported back to the camp. Shower, freshen-up, then meet in the boma area for sundowners before dinner is served. |

3:
Wake-up call with tea/coffee and rusks. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting-off to the Manziwayo Falls for abseiling. These are a series of seven waterfalls set in spectacular surroundings where you abseil past one of the falls and rockslide into a crystal clear mountain pool. Return to camp for lunch and depart thereafter. Rafts, equipment and all food provided by qualified guides. Scheduled departures each weekend for individuals wishing to join an existing group, or a minimum number of 25 people for an exclusive group. The season runs from October to April.
