Tarn is a family-owned country house overlooking the Tsitsikamma and Outeniqua Mountains, between Plettenberg Bay and Natures Valley, just 2 km from spectacular coastline. Enjoy walks through the 100-acre indigenous forest garden with its abundant birdlife and magnificent views.

Making Tarn your base gives you the opportunity to visit the entire area, exploring a variety of scenic and cultural attractions that are not more than 30 minutes in either direction. Attractions include Keurboom's River and beach, Nature's Valley, Tsitsikamma and Storms River Mouth, Plettenberg Bay, Robberg Nature Reserve, and the local arts and crafts route.

The best whale watching is from June to November.

Beautiful sandy beaches, whale watching in season and dolphin watching all year round, golf, horse riding, fishing and scuba diving all close by. Also bungee jumping, hiking and mountain biking trails. Boat trips for those who want to explore the Keurboom's River and bird sanctuary. Owners Guy and Erica de la Motte will gladly assist you in planning the day's activities to ensure that your stay is a memorable one.
