Shark Cage Diving The
excursion operates daily (weather permitting) from Gansbaai, situated on
the Cape Southeast coast, 160 km from Cape Town. About a 2-hour drive.
Guests have a unique opportunity to view the Great White Shark in
its natural environment, either from the boat or from the underwater
cage. You will also be exposed to a number of other wildlife species,
namely Cape Gannets, Cape Fur Seals, Jackass Penguins and dolphins.
Between June and December, you'll have an opportunity to see Southern
Right Whales.
Divers must possess an
internationally recognized Scuba Diver Certificate. Here are a few tips
for your day at sea.

|

You are safely housed in a
cage, which floats no more than 1 meter below the surface. Non-divers
will have a great opportunity to watch the sharks feeding from the
safety of the boat's top-deck, where awesome photographs and video
footage can be captured at close range.
